Robischon Gallery extends its heartfelt wishes for experiences of great imagination, innovation and inspiration in the New Year - as all three stand as a catalyst for hope. Celebrated artist Linda Fleming offers such inspiration through her recently completed 2024, site-specific sculpture, “Wayfinding,” in Honolulu, Hawaii. Evoking ocean currents and movements in the sky, the massive steel sculpture references the traditional art of navigation based on the observation of the sun, stars, and currents. Fleming describes “Wayfinder” as “a multifaceted drawing in space,” stating, “The structures are diagrams of thought that provide a glimpse of the strangeness beyond the world to which we cling; opening a place where thought becomes tangible, history leaves a trace and information exhales form.”

“Wayfinding” is a permanent installation on the Pacific Shoreline in Honolulu, Hawaii, realized in collaboration with the artist, Denver’s Junoworks, ABR + Associates and Robischon Gallery.
