Robischon Gallery artists Halim Al Karim and Sami Al Karim are two distinctive artists featured in "Presence: Reflections on the Middle East" opening Friday, February 3rd from 6-8pm at the Center for Visual Art. The exhibition features photo-based works, that for curators Cecily Cullen, Leila Armstrong and Natascha Seideneck, "reflect the tension inherent in the presence, or absence of people in a place, whether in their native land or beyond."
