Robischon Gallery artist HALIM AL KARIM and artists Ali Assaf, Azad Nanakeli, Adel Abidin, Ahmed Alsoudani and Walid Siti interpret the theme of water.

After more than a thirty year absence, Iraq returns to the Venice Biennale with six internationally-known contemporary artists from two distinct generations. As a result of living both inside and outside their home country, each artist presents work emblematic of the current environmental issues affecting Iraq.
