Deborah Dancy is currently featured one of eleven critically acclaimed artists in “Parallel Practices,” on view at the Visual and Performing Arts Center Art Gallery (Western Connecticut State University) - through Sunday, March 4, 2018.

A member of the University of Connecticut art faculty for more than 35 years and recipient of the noteworthy Guggenheim, Yaddo and Hearst Creative Arts fellowships, Dancy has produced 14 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions across the country. Her works are held in 30 permanent collections nationwide including the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Detroit Institute of Art and the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City.
