Occupying 3500 square feet of gallery space, the Robischon Gallery is located one block from Union
Station in the historic district of Lower Downtown Denver (LoDo). Adjacent to the main exhibition
space is the Robischon Gallery Annex, which presents works from the gallerys roster of artists
in a
5000 square foot gallery.
We are located on the same block as the famed Red House, the home of the collection of
Jan Perry
Mayer and Frederick R. Mayer, historically important collectors and philanthropists. Additionally,
we
are neighbors to other commercial galleries located in Lower Downtown.
The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver (303.298.7554), built by acclaimed architect David Adjaye,
is a walkable 6 blocks from the gallery, and the Denver Art Museum, with landmark buildings by Gio
Ponti and Daniel Libeskind, is just 2 miles away. The DAM is situated in a cultural campus that
includes
the Denver Public Library, designed by Michael Graves, the Colorado Historical Museum, and the
Clifford Still Museum(Opening in 2011). The Denver Center for the Perfrming Arts Complex and the
Dikou Collection are also located nearby.
Luxury hotels, unique shopping and numerous restaurants can be found near the gallery, along with
the
Coors Field baseball stadium. Transportation to and from Denver International Airport (DIA) is
less
than a 30 minute drive from LoDo (approximately 22 miles).
